The second, Current Advances in Gambling Research (CAGR) Conference will be
held on May 19th and 20th 2022 at the Raddisson Blu Hotel in Cardiff, Wales.
The aim of the CAGR Conference 2022 is to provide a forum for academic researchers
and clinicians to discuss all aspects of gambling research and treatment. The CAGR
Conference is multi-disciplinary and welcomes contributions from all academic
perspectives to the scientific study of gambling and the treatment of gambling related

Registration, travel, and accommodation
Registration is free for attendees. Presenting speakers will receive free travel, onenight’s
hotel accommodation, and attendance at the conference dinner.
Call for Papers
The Call for Papers will be issued shortly. Presentations (both talks and posters) are
limited to academic-based researchers and clinicians. In addition, there will be content
devised and presented by individuals with lived experience of gambling-related harm.
The CAGR Conference 2022 is supported by funding from the Gambling Research,
Education and Treatment (GREAT) Network Wales (via Health and Care Research
Wales), the Society for the Study of Addiction (SSA), and Gambling Research
Exchange Ontario (GREO).
